What It Is

What It Pays For
Full tuition, books, fees, monthly housing stipend, tools, equipment, licensing costs, and job placement support. No tuition cap — unlike the GI Bill®, there is no ceiling on what VR&E will fund for an approved vocational goal.
Who Qualifies
If you have a service-connected disability rating and it affects your ability to work, you most likely qualify. 98.8% of applicants in FY2024 were found eligible. The question isn't whether you qualify — it's whether you've applied.

Donald "Donny" Whitton is a U.S. Army combat veteran with deployments to Bosnia, Kosovo, and Iraq — including the 2003 invasion force.
